Organization & Administration The Hudson Valley Roller Hockey League, Inc., is a Type A, Not-for Profit Organization duly filed with the NYS Division of Corporations & State Records, on 4/2/03. Our Federal Employer Identification Number is 06-1687490. The purpose of the Hudson Valley Roller Hockey League is the development and promotion of roller hockey. Our intent is to provide the means for all children who wish to play roller hockey during the summer. We have participating leagues and teams from Orange, Dutchess, Rockland, Putnam and Westchester Counties in New York. The Hudson Valley Roller Hockey League is comprised of three board members. Click here to obtain contact information for current board members. The HVRHL Board comprises the Executive Branch, but has no actual voting authority in the league. Each league belonging to the HVRHL is permitted one league delegate (and one alternative) for the purpose of voting on rules, fees, etc., during regularly scheduled meetings. These delegates comprise the Legislative Branch. A Two-Thirds (2/3) vote is required to pass any issue. The Conduct and Competition Committee reviews issues of play during the season and collects recommendations for changes for the following seasons. This five person committee investigates & votes (when necessary) on all immediate conduct issues (suspensions due to fighting, etc). If the issue involves a committee member's "home league", one of the HVRHL board members will assume that committee member's role in that particular issue only. This ensures total impartiality. The Conduct and Competition Committee comprises our Judicial Branch. All monetary transactions are subject to HVRHL Board approval. Any purchase over $100 requires vote from League delegates.
